A 4 mile post work pre-dinner run. It’s ME time. I think it’s odd that people cut bushes to look like animals, but this one doesn’t look like its doing well.

Day 31 @lagunitasbruhws Cappuccino Stout. I wanted to finish the month of beers strong! Pours nice and dark. Hints of chocolate an hops. Coffee aftertaste but not as strong as expected. Great beer though.

Day 30 Mississippi Mud Not just a gimmick. Not a bad blend. Nice nose and very drinkable. Nothing special either, but love the jug.

Day 29 Joseph Brau Dunkelweizen (Trader Joes) Not as dark as expected. Notes of banana with a light maltiness. Could use more carbonation. Pretty easy to drink, but nothing special.

Day 28 @StoneBrewingCo Russian Imperial Stout. Pours thick and dark. Chocolate is prevalent with coffee undertones. Alcohol is present but mild. Even better as it warms up.

Great run in 80 degree October weather. James Way was brutal, but was just one of four big hills over 5 miles. Great day out.

Day 27 Beer 27 Erdinger Weissbier Dunkel. Smooth and simple. Refreshing, but not too complex. Some honey and very mild caramel.

Gorgeous day in SLO for a ride. About midway through, stopped for coffee and chatted before getting back on the bike. Picture was taken at the top of Noyes before heading down.
