Can You Summerize the Plot to StarWars?

My co-worker sent me this video today. As a huge StarWars fan (who isn’t right?) I found this to be just wrong.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Bang! You’re Dead!

No not really, but we do play this silly game at work.
I’m often amazed that grown men and women are so willing to play these types of games; think “that’s what she said,” the circle punch game or even “your mom!” Most of these games, adults will never play in front of children, but remove all the kids and we adults have no problems enjoying these types of juvenile games. Is it that we’re all just kids at heart?
Maybe you think this sounds like fun? Well, read the rules then you can decide if it’s something you want to start around your office.
The Rules as handed down by Kyle: (edit 2/5/10 for “your dead” clarification).

Whom Touches You The Most?

I wanted to pass along this video I saw with an interesting question.
Watch the video before continuing…
As you ask yourself the question, how do you answer? I thought it was very interesting how selfish most of the answers are, including our own. The answer I was impressed with, was a guy who answered very differently then I thought. Which leads to the next thought.
What ideas did you have about each speaker before they answered the question? What do you think that says about you? Is that something you want to change?

My family is a huge Princess Bride fan… We’ve worn out 2 VHS tapes and we’re on our second DVD of it. I would estimate we’re approaching 500 viewings. Yeah, I know, it’s a sickness.
Saw this great XKCD comic this morning and it made me smile. Hope it does the same for you.

Each Passing Day at Down Town Brew

I had a chance to get out tonight and see my friends Matt, Dan and Loren of Each Passing Day at Down Town Brew. It was their first big show. They sounded great and had a fantastic turnout. One could almost feel sorry for the headline singer who came all the way from San Diego, about half way through her show, many of the EPD fans started leaving. Anyway, you should check EPD out!
You can listen to a couple of their songs on their myspace page… If I can figure out how to embed the audio, I will. One of my favs is San Francisco.
For Those of the IT Crowd

Nope, not the hilariously funny British TV show, but for those that work, have worked, or know someone who works in IT, this video is for you. Sure, it’s made the rounds, and quite possibly, you’ve already seen it. But man, it’s funny. It was re-making the rounds today at work and my co-worker was in tears while watching it. Check it out!
Tahoe Trip 2009

Recently, we made our annual trip up to South Lake Tahoe, and what a trip is was. What it lacked in sports and excitement, was totally made up for in relaxation. Well, the 16 hours in a car driving wasn’t very relaxing, but the time spent with friends and family sure was. I just posted some of the pictures.
